Tire Aspect Ratio

The aspect ratio refers to the ratio of height to section width of tires. In the past, most of the tire's aspect ratio was 100/meaning that the tire's height and width are the same. Recently, However, the ratio tends to gradually go down to 80,70,65,60, etc. Lately, wide tires became very popular, and the tire unit is in series. Thus, tires with the aspect ratio of 70 are called '70 series tires.'
